Costa Rica is world-famous for its incredible diversity in nature and wildlife. This vacation package is created for those of you who are interested in discovering more about Costa Rica’s wildlife both on land and in the ocean. On your arrival to the capital San Jose you will get picked up at the airport and then get the first day off to relax at the hotel. After this your nature adventure awaits you and your first stop will be beautiful little beach town Manuel Antonio. It’s famous for its beautiful beach and also for its exciting and accessible national park located very close to the beach. You will spend two nights here and you can go to the national park every day on your own or hire the services of a guide (the park is closed Mondays and entrance fee is 16 USD). After you have discovered Manuel Antonio the journey continues to the home of the whales, Uvita, where you will be staying at luxury hotel Oxygen. Uvita has its own beautiful beach and if you want to you can also visit neighboring town Dominical, famous for its surfing. On your second day in Uvita we will take you on a whale and dolphin watching tour which is amazing. The first season for whale watching is between July and October when the southern hemisphere whales are here and the second season is between December and February when the northern hemisphere whales are here. To see these incredible humpback whales, jump and play in the water is truly a magical experience. While enjoying this tour you also get to see dolphins if you are lucky.

Your next and final stop of this adventure is the incredible and world-famous national park of Corcovado. You will be staying close to the entrance of the park in Drake Bay at our lodge where all meals are included during your stay. You will also get to discover a guided tour to one of the world’s most diverse national parks Corcovado.

The national park has more than 140 species of mammals, 400 species of birds, 116 species of amphibians and reptiles, 40 species of fish, and 500 species of trees. While in Drake Bay you will also get to go on a guided trip to Caño Island and also add a third included guided tour to your liking and you can choose from Mangrove Island, horseback riding, Rio Claro, kayaking, a butterfly farm, or canopy tour. When you have finished your adventure in Drake Bay and Corcovado your lodge will take you to the airport for your domestic flight to San Jose.

If you prefer, the flight can be changed to a shuttle transportation that takes about 7 hours. While you are back in San Jose the hotel will pick you up at the airport so you can relax your final day in Costa Rica before your flight will take you home.
