DAY 1
On arrival you’ll be picked up from the airport by a private driver. He will wait
for you at the exit of the airport holding up a sign with your name on it. The journey
from either airport (Liberia or San José) takes about 3 hours to your first
accommodation. Nayara Tented Camp is a luxury hotel with stunning views of Arenal
Volcano. You’ll spend two nights in your “Nayara Tent” with private plunge pool. On
arrival day you have no activities planned, so you can relax in the amazing Hot Springs
that you find right onsite!
DAY 2
Day 2 is a full day of adventures! You begin with a horseback riding trip from the hotel to the 72m tall waterfall La Fortuna. Here you can swim in the lagoon or just enjoy this incredibly beautiful valley and the waterfall that adorns it. When you are done you slowly ride back towards the hotel while looking up at the volcano that towers over you.
DAY 3
On this day you’ll travel to your second destination: The Monteverde Cloud
Forest. You’ll be picked up by your shared transportation that takes you by boat over
the Lake of Arenal, it’s a wonderful experience! At night you have the “San Lucas
Treetop Dining Experience” included in your package, which is a unique dining
experience with 7 courses right at your accommodation: Chira Glamping! At Chira
Glamping you sleep in luxury tents above the treetops of the Cloud Forest!
DAY 4
Another day full of adventures! You start your day with a scenic walk over the
famous Hanging Bridges through the Cloud Forest, followed by the best Zip Lining in the
whole country with 15 lines on 18 platforms, this is going to be a lot of fun for
everyone! You will also visit a Sloths Sanctuary and Butterfly Garden, to see some of
Costa Rica’s most popular wildlife. This is an amazing experience for anyone visiting
Costa Rica for the first time!
DAY 5
Today you travel to your final destination via mini van & ferry! Once arrived at
Isla Chiquita Glamping Hotel you have the rest of the day to relax and explore the
beautiful island!
DAY 6
Ready to see some magic? Tonight you will experience a special evening on a
boating adventure in search of the area’s nocturnal wonders: Bioluminescence (water
that sparkles at night)!
DAY 7
Today you will go on a Whale Watching Expedition by boat directly from your
hotel. Hopefully you will see Humpback Whales and dolphins, that migrate in search for
optimal breeding and calving locations!
DAY 8
Today you will go SUPing! Stand up paddle boarding is a great way to explore the
nearby islands, the shore and the mangroves. You can put in some laps and get a great
workout, or just enjoy the sunset while gliding across the water on a stand up paddle
board.
DAY 9
Now it’s time to head back home and carry those amazing memories with you
forever! You will be picked up by your private airport transportation to be taken back to
either San José or Liberia Airport to catch your flight back home!
