DAY 1
Your private transfer picks you up at the airport in San Jose and takes you to your luxury eco-hotel, Pacuare Lodge on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. Your home for the next three days is a river-side suite with a private terrace facing the Pacuare River and tropical forest. Here you can relax in the Java Juu Spa and the big pool.
DAY 2
After your complimentary breakfast you are going on your first excursion. Your guide takes you on a hike in the Talamanca mountains to visit a family of the Cabecar tribe, the largest indigenous group in Costa Rica. You will get a glimpse into the life of a Cabecar family and how they live in and with the forest. This is a special meeting with both people and nature.
DAY 3
Today we have some more action for you. You’re going to conquer the Pacuare River in a fun way. With your guide you get to experience the magic of whitewater rafting as your excitement rises and the rapids take you down the rugged canyons and tropical rainforests.
DAY 4
The transfer takes you up to the next luxury hotel, El Silencio Lodge & Spa. The big spacious suite has a king-size bed and a private terrace with a heated jet pool. The view over the river and rainforest is stunning and so relaxing.
DAY 5
After you enjoy the complimentary breakfast, your guide takes you on a trek in the hotel’s 500 acres private rainforest reserve. Here you get to see nature and the animals and birds living here, and as the grand finale, you come to the beautiful waterfall Las Gemelas.
DAY 6
Today you get to enjoy and relax in the hotel’s stunning environment. But for dinner we have something special for you–your private deck overlooking the Gorrion River while having the chef’s signature organic dishes.
DAY 7
From here your private transfer takes you up to the majestic volcano Arenal and Hotel Arenal Kioro Suites & Spa. Your suite comes with a king-size bed, a jetted tub, “Juliet” balcony, and an impressive view of the Arenal Volcano and surrounding gardens.
DAY 8
You will enjoy a complimentary breakfast in the restaurant, which also has a stunning panoramic view of the volcano. During your whole stay in Kioro you get free access to both the onsite hot spring pools and Titokú Hot Springs located 6km from the hotel. But the hotel’s free shuttle takes you back and forth whenever you want.
DAY 9
Today you get to explore the rainforest around the volcano from a guided hike on hanging bridges. You get to open the doors and see the fascinating and colorful tropical rainforest and all the animals that live here.
DAY 10
After breakfast the private transfer takes you down the mountain on the Pacific side of Costa Rica to Rio Perdido Hotel and Thermal River. This hotel is a sanctuary of well-being. Your private forest bungalow is modern and opens onto a great balcony overlooking the forest.
