This package is perfect for those who like to mix both budget and luxury with exciting adventures. You will be picked up at the airport and driven to your hotel Barcelo SJ Palacio, which is an older 5* hotel with restaurants, pool, gym and comfortable beds. The next day you are picked up by the Pachira Lodge bus and driven to Tortuguero on the Caribbean side. You live in a simpler but oh so cozy lodge/bungalow by the Tortuguero canals where you will go on an exciting riverboat trip, visit Tortuguero’s village and go on a hike in the rainforest.

After this the adventure continues to Arenal where you will stay at a small family owned hotel, Monte Real, which is very central in La Fortuna and you can go to restaurants and easily explore the cute village. In Arenal you will get to ride to a fantastic waterfall, hike around the volcano while learning about the nature around you. Before being driven home to the hotel, you will visit hot springs and eat an included dinner. The next stop is the wonderful cloud forest in Monteverde and here you will stay at the cozy mountain hotel in the outskirts of Santa Elena town. From here its walking distance in to town,where you can get a wonderful sense of the mountain culture.

In Monteverde you will get to ride a cable car and hike on hanging bridges high up and through the cloud rainforest. You will also get to visit the butterfly house and the cute sloths that were rescued and are now living in their sanctuary. The last stop, and the more luxurious hotel Diria, is right on the beach in Tamarindo and you have walking distance to restaurants, bars , shopping and all the adventures that Tamarindo offers. Diria is a 4* hotel right in the heart of Tamarindo, the hotel has large beautiful gardens that reach right down to the beach, a large lovely restaurant with a fantastic location where you can have a cold tropical drink and rest your eyes on the fantastic sunset that Guanacaste is known for. The hotel also has several pools, a spa area and a gym for those who want to exercise a little extra. A perfect ending to this magical journey could be a sunset from a catamaran sailing on the Pacific Ocean.
