DAY 1
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by your private shuttle service and transported to your hotel. DAY 3
Your day begins early as you join your guide for a riverboat tour. During the cruise, you’ll have the chance to see a variety of wildlife, including crocodiles, monkeys, iguanas, numerous bird species, and, if you’re lucky, sloths. After this exciting excursion, you’ll have some time to relax and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll meet up with your guide again for a rainforest hike, offering another opportunity to explore the lush nature and observe more animals in their natural habitat.
DAY 4
As the day begins, you enjoy your breakfast before checking out and continuing your journey toward La Fortuna and Arenal Volcano. The transportation offers breathtaking scenery, and if you’re lucky, you’ll spot more wild animals along the way. As you approach, the majestic volcano will loom in the background, creating an incredible sight. You will arrive in the afternoon. If you’re interested, you can reserve additional activities such as a night hike, a coffee and chocolate tour, stroll through the charming town, or simply relax in the natural hot springs at your hotel.
DAY 5
You’ll enjoy a scenic horseback riding tour through the lush landscapes surrounding La Fortuna. After leaving the horses behind, there’s a short hike down to the waterfall, with about 450 natural steps leading the way. Take your time, enjoy the sounds of the forest, and soak in the beauty. And yes — you’ll walk the same 450 steps back up again… but it’s worth every single one! You can choose to swim in the waterfall lagoon or the crystal-clear river, cooling off in its refreshing waters, or simply sit back, relax, and admire the breathtaking scenery of the cascading falls and surrounding jungle.
DAY 6
You will leave the beautiful town of La Fortuna and continue your adventure toward Monteverde, famous for its lush cloud forest. Your journey will begin with a jeep or minivan ride to Arenal Lake, where you will board a boat that crosses the lake. Upon reaching the other side, you’ll be picked up by another jeep or minivan and taken to your hotel. After check-in, you’ll have the afternoon to explore the charming town of Santa Elena. Alternatively, you can reserve an optional coffee and chocolate tour or a night hike to enhance your experience.
DAY 7
Another fantastic day for adventure! You start your morning with a delicious breakfast before heading out to explore the breathtaking cloud forest of Monteverde. This guided tour includes a hike across suspension bridges, also known as hanging bridges, offering a unique perspective of the lush canopy. During your walk, you’ll observe many of the approximately 2,500 plant species native to the forest. The day also features visits to a butterfly garden, a hummingbird garden, and a sloth sanctuary. Afterward, you’ll have the opportunity to experience one of Costa Rica’s premier zip-line adventures. In the evening, you’re free to explore and dine at one of Santa Elena’s many excellent restaurants.
DAY 8
Today, you will depart to your next destination: the beautiful Tamarindo Beach. Along the way, you’ll pass through breathtaking natural scenery before arriving at your hotel. After check-in, you’ll have the afternoon to relax on the stunning nearby beach and explore the excellent restaurants in the area. Tamarindo is famous for its spectacular sunsets, providing a perfect moment to share with your loved ones.
DAY 9
Today is your perfect day to enjoy and unwind on the beautiful beaches of Tamarindo or to spend it exactly as you wish. We can assist you in booking surfing lessons, or if you’re interested in exploring more, you can embark on exciting tours such as riverboat excursions to observe local wildlife, snorkeling adventures, or ATV rides along the beach or through the mountains. If fishing is your passion, Tamarindo and Flamingo are ideal destinations, offering world-class sportfishing opportunities.
DAY 10
Today is a relaxing and adventurous day on the water. You’ll embark on a scenic catamaran cruise that will take you sailing throughout the afternoon, offering stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere. There will be a stop where you can snorkel, swim, stand-up paddleboard, or simply relax on the deck, whichever you prefer. A light lunch is included to keep you energized, and you’ll enjoy complimentary drinks from the full bar as you watch the sunset, making for an unforgettable experience.
