DAY 1
Welcome to Costa Rica! Today you are getting picked up in Costa Rica´s capital San Jose by your private transportation that will take you to magical Manuel Antonio. Upon arrival you will check in at luxurious Makanda By the Sea. You will have the afternoon to discover the cozy town and its white sand beaches. The evening offers a visit to the hotel’s restaurant or one of the many delicious restaurants in town.
DAY 2
Today is an exciting day as you will discover some of the beautiful waterfalls in this amazing area. Your guide will safely take you around as you arrive in your air-conditioned van. There are not only just one but two waterfalls to enjoy. You will also get to walk on two hanging bridges and take unique photos. This is a romantic hike as there is not so much walking included in this tour.
DAY 3
The fun and excitement continues as today you will experience the diverse national park of Manuel Antonio. Your private guide will show you all the different trees, plants, and white sand beaches that the national park offers. The animal life in this park is also very exciting as you will get the chance to see many interesting birds and animals such as white face monkeys, howler monkeys, iguanas, sloths, spider monkeys, among many others.
DAY 4
This day is filled with fun and relaxation as we have included an amazing catamaran sunset cruise. This afternoon you will get to sail on the Pacific Ocean with the possibilities of seeing a lot of marine life such as dolphins, humpback whales, sea turtles, manta rays, and many more. You can see them from the boat or in the water as you get the chance to go snorkeling. A light lunch and open bar are included as well.
DAY 5
We have left this day open and free of included tours so you can really enjoy the hotel or discover the beautiful town of Manuel Antonio. If you are interested you can take a beginner surfing lesson or just enjoy the beach and tropical climate with some refreshing drinks on the beach. If you are interested in fishing, a visit to Quepos to charter a fishing boat could also be a great activity. Let us know if you want our help to book your tours and activities.
DAY 6
Your private transportation will pick you up and take you to the very lush beach town of Uvita two hours south of Manuel Antonio. You will be checked in to the luxurious hotel Oxygen Jungle Villas and you will have the afternoon to enjoy the hotel or discover the town itself. When you visit the beach of Uvita you will discover something super cool as one part of the beach is formed in the shape of a whale tail!
DAY 7
Your activity schedule starts with a paddle boarding session where you will combine some physical activity with relaxation as you learn how to stand up and paddle on your board. Your expert tour guides will take you to the whale’s tail and the surrounding mangroves for a wonderful day.
DAY 8
This day will hopefully bring you a memory of a lifetime! Today you will go out on the world-famous whale safari sailing out of Uvita. Your professional bilingual guide will take you out on the ocean to see these marvelous animals. It’s truly a blessing to see these amazing animals as they exit the water and jump with their calves. As we are in nature there is NO guarantee of seeing the whales.
DAY 9
On the itinerary today is the relaxing Jungle Spa Day Pass. Your guide will take you through the hotel´s jungle and you will get to visit the jungle river, swimming holes, and the beautiful waterfall. In this tour a 60-minute relaxation massage is also included that can be upgraded just as your included light lunch.
DAY 10
As your final activity on your itinerary we have included a kayaking tour that will take you to the whale’s tail and its reserve named after the whales. While paddling the reserve you will enjoy the scenery of Three Sisters and Whale´s Islands. From here you will get to enjoy the corals while snorkeling the area around the whale’s tail.
