DAY 1
Welcome to Costa Rica! Today your private transportation will pick you up at the airport upon arrival and take you to one of Costa Rica´s most secluded luxury hotels, El Silencio. Here you will get to stay in the very lush forest and you can choose from a big variety of spa treatments. If you arrive early you can visit the local market or participate in a coffee tour.
DAY 2
El Silencio and its surrounding areas offer immense nature, and today you will get to visit the amazing waterfalls in the nearby area. Your eco-concierge will take you on a private waterfall tour where you will walk the creeks and see soothing waterfalls. You will learn a lot about the cloud forest ecosystem of this area.
DAY 3
You can spend this day relaxing and enjoying some of the hotel’s many great spa treatments. In the evening we have reserved and included a sundown dinner. The hotel will set up a private romantic torchlit dinner in a rainforest scenario with candles and very personal service. This is a great experience if you are celebrating an anniversary, honeymoon, special proposal, or just love.
DAY 4
Today your private transportation will pick you up after your delicious breakfast and take you to the cozy mountain town of La Fortuna at the foot of the majestic volcano Arenal. While here, you will be staying at the five-star natural hot springs hotel Tabacon. This is one of Costa Rica’s best hotels, and the included hot springs are some of the best in the whole country. Enjoy relaxing days at the hotel’s guests-only Shangri-La area.
DAY 5
Arenal has some of Costa Rica’s most beautiful rainforest areas, and today you will get to visit one of them on your included private tour on the hanging bridges. Your private guide will show you and teach you more about the mystical forest and its incredible biodiversity. This is an amazing opportunity to see animals and get to know the amazing rainforest.
DAY 6
Get your adrenaline pumping! Today you are going to get to enjoy a truly adrenaline-pumping experience as you go with our experienced guides on a whitewater rafting adventure. Costa Rica has many amazing rivers, and this tour will give you a mix of floating and watching the beautiful nature as well as speeding on the lively river.
DAY 7
After this relaxing and adventurous stay in Arenal and Tabacon, it’s time to travel on to the Pacific coast and the beautiful beach of Punta Islita. Here you will enjoy the luxurious and relaxing amenities that this secluded hotel has to offer. There are free shuttles to the beach so you can work on your tan and enjoy the warm water of the ocean.
DAY 8
This is a perfect day to enjoy the tropical climate for a day at the beach or the superb pool area. If you choose to spend the day at the hotel you should really take the chance and enjoy the hotel´s delicious food and drinks. Or why not enjoy a romantic walk on the beautiful beach?
DAY 9
One of Costa Rica’s most popular excursions is the zip-line canopy tour. We have included this exciting adventure in your itinerary. This tree-friendly experience is set on ground platforms and crisscrosses a deep canyon for spectacular views and gives you a generous rush of adrenaline. After this adventure you will get the afternoon to relax at the hotel.
DAY 10
Monkeys are fascinating animals, and today you will get to see them with your professional guide. Did you know that the howler monkey is the loudest land animal? Their howling can be heard over a 3-mile radius. These monkeys are highly social and travel in groups of up to 18 monkeys. Today you will get to see them and hear them on this monkey quest hike.
