Hacienda las vainillas is an amazing place hidden in the middle of untouched rain forest. This beautiful place is located on 100 hectares of rain forest bordering Cangreja National park. The hotel is built in Colombian hacienda style and has 5 luxury rooms.
There is a huge pool (1100 square feet=102 m2), a cozy bar, plenty of outdoor space and of course the family style restaurant that serves delicious home cooked meals. This is a perfect place to relax and if you want to be adventurous.
The property has its own vanilla farm where you can visit and learn about the growing process of the plant as well as of coffee and chocolate. There are a number of beautiful water falls connected with crystal clear rivers stretching over miles of hiking trails. One of our favorite things to do here is to hike the trails, swim in the rivers and jump in the waterfalls!
