This is the perfect journey for those looking for beautiful, untouched rainforests and some of the best beaches on the Caribbean in Costa Rica. Your trip begins in the capital, San José, where you will spend your first night. On the second day, your transportation to Tortuguero will pick you up early in the morning to take you along scenic roads past vast banana plantations. Tortuguero means “Place of the Turtles” in Spanish and is often referred to as the “Little Amazon” because of its incredible biodiversity, nature, and wildlife. During your stay in this fantastic place, you will participate in three tours that showcase the region’s rich nature, and hopefully, you will see animals such as crocodiles, monkeys, iguanas, sloths, and many beautiful bird species. You will enjoy three days immersed in nature before continuing your journey on Costa Rica’s Caribbean side.

After your exciting stay in Tortuguero, we will take you to the charming beach town of Puerto Viejo and the luxurious hotel Le Cameleon. The hotel offers a variety of amenities and activities, allowing you to relax at the hotel or explore some of the stunning nearby beaches. You will be staying at the beautiful Playa Cocles, but we also recommend visits to the nearby beaches of Punta Uva and Playa Manzanillo, located south of your hotel. The town itself features numerous restaurants and bars serving both local and international cuisine. Included in your trip is a snorkeling and hiking tour of Cahuita National Park.
